What can you paint your car with?

Author: I want to hand paint my VW bus. I was wondering if I can use non-automotive paint. Like, can I use paint for metal or outdoor paint for houses? Artist paint with a clear-coat over it? Could I also use automotive paint by hand, with a paint brush?
you can do any of them but it wont look good at all and it probably wont last long

Should I used paint brushes or rollers when painting the round columns on the front of my house?
The columns are somewhat of a smooth surface so I am leaning to paint rollers. Would rollers be my best choice for this application?
Get yourself a four inch roller and frame.There is different thicknesses of nap to choose from. Go with a fairly smooth or medium nap. If you can get one, go with 3/8 inch nap. Get grid to put into one gallon plastic bucket and pour about two inches of paint into bucket. This grid will roll off excess paint. Roll paint onto column. I always roll up and down. Just keep moving so paint does’nt dry before you do next section above or below the area you just finished. Not to difficult. Just pay attention. You shouldn’t see any lines if you take your time .
